Announcing the Fall 2024 Texas Law Student Writing Competition

The Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, through its governing Council, has initiated its Fall 2024 Annual Student Writing Competition to be coordinated by the Law Student Writing Competition Committee.

The Competition is an annual state-wide competition, open to written submissions of insurance-related articles authored by law students in good standing from any of the ten accredited law schools in Texas. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $4,000.

The submission deadline is December 20, 2024. The subject of the Submission must be an insurance law, insurance coverage, and/or an insurance law-related topic, to be chosen at the discretion of the student author, or the topic suggested by the Scholarship Subcommittee (applicable for 2024.)
